Success Body and Mind
Rowden January 2020
• There is a direct link between your body and your mind. The same blood flows through both, through the physical body and also the brain. If you don’t look after your body the mind suffers, your physical state affects the mind, your mental state.
• If you’re not eating properly or exercising correctly this will affect your mental state. A few simple changes done consistently will completely change your body and your life. Conversely if you don’t fuel or care for your body properly the results can be deadly. It may take time but sooner or later you will suffer and in the shorter term you will not achieve the results you hope for.
• Most of us stand in the way of our own achievements.
• Success is not something you can wish into existence, dreaming doesn’t get you too far. You have to take responsibility for the outcome of your life. If you’re not successful, you are doing things to make you fail or you are either not doing anything or not doing enough to put you on the road to success. Be persistent, doing is more important than knowing.
• Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond and deal with it. What goes on in your mind is the most important aspect of success.
• The man who makes no mistakes, makes no progress. Welcome failures, they make up the road to success. You are not judged by the number of times you fail, but by the number of times you succeed.
• Failure will never beat you if your determination to succeed is strong enough. Success and failure are ‘mates’ separated by one simple decision – the one never to quit! Let failure guide not cripple you.
• Take control of your life. Stop letting other people or circumstances determine your future. Optimism and determination should be your daily choices. To get real results be consistent not hit or miss.
• Set your mind to do something and put all your energy and resources into it and the universe will not deny you.
• Nobody is better than me.
• Be a winner. ‘You beat me today because you’re bigger, stronger, more experienced, but you will never do it again. I’ll tell you why. Because you’ve grown all you’re going to grow, you’re not going to get any better. Me I’m still growing, developing and improving and learning every day. Very soon there will be no contest!’
